AHA CPR AED

What: American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED teaches participants how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. The course is based on the latest science-based guidance from the American Heart Association. What does this course teach?

Heartsaver CPR AED covers essential lifesaving skills, including:‍ ‍

  • Recognizing the signs of a heart attack or stroke

  • Adult CPR and AED use

  • Child CPR AED and Infant CPR

  • Choking relief for adults, children, and infants

  • Drowning prevention and response

  • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

Upon completion of all course requirements, participants receive a Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card which is valid for two years.
